EMDR and Imagery Rescripting Workshop

Are you an EMDR therapist?
A schema or imagery rescripting practitioner?
Or someone blending both approaches—and sometimes feeling unsure when to use which?
This workshop is for you!

In this hands-on, clinically focused workshop, we’ll explore how to effectively integrate Imagery Rescripting (ImRs) and EMDR therapy in trauma-focused practice. Together, we’ll unpack the theory, demystify the overlaps and distinctions, and give you practical tools to navigate both approaches with confidence.

This workshop will help you:

  • Understand the theoretical foundations of ImRs and EMDR

  • Identify key similarities and differences between the two

  • Learn practical integration strategies for real-world therapy

  • Observe clinical examples that illustrate the application of combining these techniques

  • Reflect on ethical considerations when combining modalities

Whether you’re trained in one or both, this workshop will deepen your understanding and expand your toolkit for working with complex presentations.

Facilitators:
This workshop will be delivered by Dr Sarah Dominguez and Dr Rita Younan
